The Ntulume Legacy Trust Child Medicare program is a charitable initiative aimed at providing healthcare services to children in Uganda who come from underprivileged backgrounds.
The Child Medicare program seeks to address the challenges faced by children in accessing quality healthcare in Uganda. Many families living in poverty cannot afford basic healthcare services for their children, leading to a high prevalence of preventable diseases and illnesses. The Child Medicare program aims to bridge this gap by providing free healthcare services to children in need.
The services provided under the program include medical consultations, laboratory tests, prescription medication, and referrals for specialized treatment. The program also runs health education campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare practices, such as immunization and hygiene.
The Ntulume Legacy Trust Child Medicare program has been successful in improving the health outcomes of children in the Wakiso district. Since its inception, the program has provided healthcare services to thousands of children, many of whom would have otherwise gone without proper medical care.
